Observing the light. Taking the time to see the world, its colours and its nuances. Observing, framing, waiting — then capturing the right emotion. Playing with light and shadows, thinking about the pace of the shots and seeking out textures to create the visual identity of a film. Telling stories through images and sharing a vision with the directors. This teamwork gives birth to a special bond and a shared language to capture the magic of acting and story telling. Discovering the world led me behind the camera. Originally from France, Switzerland and Quebec, I developed my visual style in Lyon, through a combination of training in film school and professional experiences. Today, I work as a director of photography on short films, music videos and documentaries. In parallel , I am a second camera assistant on feature films and series to keep on learning from directors of photography I admire.
