Karine Aulnette studied cinema at the Ecole Louis Lumière, graduating in 2007. She began her career as an assistant director. In 2014, she worked on René Féret's Anton Tchékhov 1890. She then worked as a cinematographer on documentaries and dramas for TV and film, including Héritiers du Vietnam by Arlette Pacquit, Faire la paix by Marilyne Canto, Le Grand Bal by Laetitia Carton, Sur la terre du lait et du miel by Fatou Diarra, Freda by Gessica Généus.
