Léa Morelli is a French cinematographer and photographer based between Paris and Berlin. A graduate of the Filmuniversität Babelsberg, she has collaborated with award-winning directors such as Abdallah Al Khatib, Anne Georget, and Matt Sweetwood.
Her visual work is deeply influenced by her practice of documentary cinema, which initially led her to pick up a camera. Driven by a genuine curiosity for human beings and otherness, she explores, through her images, the nuances and dynamics of social and political realities. With her artistic and human sensitivity, she supports the vision of committed authors, shedding light on complex narratives with precision and empathy. Attentive to meaningful stories and singular perspectives, she continues to seek out collaborations that challenge and inspire, both visually and emotionally.
