Julie Robineau is drawn to capturing faces, bodies, and stories with a sensitive and committed eye. Trained as a camera assistant, she has been honing her craft as a director of photography for several years, working on narratives where emotion is conveyed through light, texture, and movement.

Coming from an unconventional background — she first worked as an engineering project manager — she ultimately chose the image to express what words often cannot. Through her framing and lighting choices, she seeks to reveal the beauty of people and the poetry of their gestures.
