Veronika Solovyeva was born in 1984 in Yakutsk, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Russia, and is a cinematographer. In 2006, she graduated from the Institute of Journalism and Literary Creativity with a degree in television journalism. From 2010 to 2012, she studied documentary film directing at the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors, and in 2015 she graduated from the cinematography programme at the Moscow School of New Cinema. Veronika currently based in Paris.
