On Saturday, November 23, the 2024 edition of the Camerimage festival concluded in Toruń, Poland. Camerimage is an international festival created in 1993, celebrating the work of cinematographers each year.

This internationally renowned event offers an insight into the representation of women cinematographers in global cinema.

Main Competition

This year, 12 feature films were in the official competition. Among the directors of these 12 films:

Across the three fiction feature film competitions, the proportion of women in cinematography roles stands at 12.9%.

Music Video Competition

Finally, in the music video category, 14 works were in competition. Among their directors:
